Club Raises $7500 for Cranford Scholarship in 2nd Annual Charity Kickoff Classic

The Second Annual Charity Kickoff Classic was a tremendous success. The club raised about $7,500 for the Eric Cranford Memorial Scholarship. Many thanks to Coors Light, the NC State Alumni Association, the participating teams and all the Wolfpack volunteers who helped make it possible!

NC State won it's first game against Wisconsin but lost 14-12 to Purdue. It was hotter than expected that day and the final two teams - Purdue and North Carolina - decided to be co-champions rather than slug it out in a fourth game. Both squads will get $75 gift cards.

Online Alumni Directory
An online directory of NC State alumni makes it easier than ever to track down classmates and old college friends. The directory allows alumni to create and maintain personalized lists of friends. Alumni can also update their own information in the directory.

To log on, go to http://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/NCS/. The directory will be accessible to all NC State alumni until Jan. 1, 2003. After that, only members of the Alumni Association will have full access while nonmembers will have limited access. Be sure to register today and make sure your information is correct!

The NC State Red Pages
The NC State Red Pages are NC State's version of the "yellow pages" that allow alumni to promote their businesses, products or services within the NC State community. Alumni can search alumni business listings or post their own. Users also will have the option of making their listing viewable to more than 200 other alumni communities. This service is free to all NC State alumni. The NC State Red Pages are online and ready to accept entries.

To register a business or service, visit http://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/NCS/, and click on "The Red Pages". You will need to log into the online community or register if you have not already done so. (Registration is free!)

If you have any questions about the Red Pages, contact Johnny Burleson at johnny_burleson@ncsu.edu.
