Capital Area NC State Alumni Club

After struggling with Cal-Berkely, #2 NC State had to come back the next night and take on #3 Wisconsin. The Badgers brought a deep bench... and the Pack did not. (Sound familiar?) State struggled the entire game, trailing by as many as 19 points in the second half. The Pack rallied to cut the lead to 8 points, but Wisconsin put the starters back in to put State away, 56-43.

The Pack finished the season with a 8-2 record. (Virginia Tech, which handed the Pack its only other loss this season, went on to win the tournament.)
